1.Equipment Purpose and Scope of Application

2.Applicable Standards

Suitable for GB/T 3903.6, GB/T2828, SATRA TM144 and other standard requirements.

3.Structural Principle

Place the specimen on the test plane, use glycerin as a lubricant, apply a given load, then move the test table horizontally relative to the specimen through a transverse traction force. Measure the dynamic friction force and calculate the dynamic friction coefficient.

 

4.Measurement System

The testing machine’s software measurement system is practical, reliable, stable, flexible, and convenient, meeting different standard requirements. Data processing methods, result data, and test plans are all managed via a database. It is also equipped with a standard test reference library to meet users’ current and future relevant standard requirements.

 

5.Control and Processing System

A brand-name computer is used for control, completing functions such as test setup, working status control, data acquisition, calculation processing, and result display/printing. Equipped with a dedicated Windows XP system for testing machines and an intelligent software package, featuring fast operation, a novel interface, flexibility, stability, simple operation, and comprehensive functions. It can determine the relevant performance parameters of material specimens based on national standards, international standards, or user-provided measurement requirements, and perform statistical processing of test data, finally outputting test reports and characteristic curves in various required formats.

6.Report Curves and Print Format

  •  Report items include vertical pressure, dynamic friction force, static friction force, friction coefficient, specimen name, test method, floor type, etc., and can average multiple test values for each item.
  •  Uses open programming, allowing design of test standards as needed. Users can edit report formats according to their requirements, generate various personalized test reports, and export reports to Excel files for convenient secondary editing.
  •  From the test curve, users can easily understand the test mode and specimen specifications. Use the mouse to locally zoom in on the test curve with unlimited magnification. The axis scales corresponding to the test curve will change simultaneously with the zoom factor.
  •  Rich curve analysis functions: The software can automatically mark characteristic points on the curve, and supports arbitrary zooming, shrinking, curve traversal, etc. During the test, 3 or more different types of curve graphs can be displayed in real-time.
  •  Users can set different corresponding units as needed. Simply provide the conversion factor relative to the base unit, and the software will automatically convert units for all sampled data, result calculations, report outputs, etc.
  •  Simple report format design with complete and diverse report items (font, color, background color, curve position, etc.). Users can arbitrarily set report content, freely define test items, and collect statistical data from the entire test results.
  •  Data query function: Users can perform combined queries based on any information from test results, such as ID, date, test plan name, etc.

8.Software Features

  •  Auto-save:Test data and conditions are automatically saved, preventing data loss due to sudden power failure or forgetting to save.

9.Hardware Features:

  •  Intelligent hardware control system with closed-loop control capability.
  •  The machine’s frame is constructed from square tubes connected and fixed to the base plate. A LOAD CELL and precision frictionless cylinder are suspended from the upper part of the frame, connected to the specimen holder. The precision frictionless cylinder applies pressure to the specimen (no manual adjustment needed). The LOAD CELL detects the applied force. This mechanism is paired with a logic pressure regulator and proximity switch, featuring a balance structure and specimen suspension weight function to provide stable and precise pressure to the specimen.
  •  The specimen holder is not only suspended from the precision frictionless cylinder but also connected via a triangular bracket to the two LOAD CELLs on the right rear, which are fixed to two movable frames. This connection allows the specimen holder to undergo vertical swinging displacement. When the compressed tile beneath the specimen moves at high speed, the resulting friction force changes are measured by the two right rear LOAD CELLs.
  •  The movable table beneath the specimen holder is used to place the tile. It is fixed on two linear rails for smooth left-right sliding. The back of the movable table is locked to a timing belt, and a servo motor with a clutch drives the table to move at high speed instantaneously.
  •  The power system uses a servo motor system featuring heat resistance, low noise, vibration damping, and high-speed, high-frequency positioning capability.
  •  Safety Design: Multiple safety protection designs and warning signs. An emergency stop button is installed prominently on the panel to ensure operator safety.
