This instrument is manufactured in accordance with GB/T 10295-2008 and GB/T 39704-2020. It is mainly used for measuring the thermal conductivity of STP and VIP vacuum insulation panels. It is widely applicable to production enterprises of thermal insulation materials, quality inspection departments, universities, and research institutes.
4.Application
The instrument is primarily used for testing STP and VIP vacuum insulation panels, as well as other materials such as silicate insulation materials, ceramic insulation materials, XPS extruded boards, rigid polyurethane foam boards, foamed cement boards, EPS foam boards, perlite, vermiculite bricks, and other similar thermal insulation materials.
5.Working Principle
The instrument uses a steady-state measurement method. Accurate results are obtained only after the cold plate and hot plate reach thermal equilibrium. According to the one-dimensional steady-state heat transfer equation, heat generated by the hot plate heater passes through the specimen to the cold plate and is then carried away by circulating water or other medium, forming a complete thermodynamic cycle.
