The instrument utilizes SCR to form a non-contact switch with low noise and long life. The instrument is small in size, light in weight, with large lifting force and adjustable joints, especially suitable for flat weld, fillet weld, pressure vessel, pipeline and the detection of complex shaped parts. The output of the instrument is low voltage, which is more suitable for the occasions where high voltage is not allowed to enter the equipment for flaw detection.
The flaw detector has AC and DC magnetization function. It can be equipped with A-type, D-type, E-type and O-type probes. The machine can be DC full-wave rectification magnetization, AC magnetization can detect deeper defects from the surface.

Structural Characteristics:
The instrument adopts silicon controlled switch, low voltage output is safe and reliable, the probe adopts fixed and plus adjustable two kinds, adjustable probe can be adjusted according to the shape of different parts of the pole shoe spacing, and have good contact.
Operational Use:
Insert the round plug of the power cable into the three-core power socket of the instrument, and insert the single-phase plug of the cable into the socket of the power grid distribution board, (there must be a solid grounding wire) turn on the power switch of the instrument, and the indicator light will be on to show that the circuit has been connected to the power supply.
Insert the aviation plugs at both ends of the cable into the instrument socket and the probe socket respectively.
So that the probe and the surface of the workpiece to be explored contact good, press the magnetization button on the probe, magnetization indicator light, indicating that the workpiece has been magnetized.
Turn off the instrument power switch and the main switch on the grid distribution board when you stop using it.
Cautions:
When using the instrument, the probe and the workpiece being probed must be in good contact before pressing the magnetizing button, otherwise the current in the coil will increase and burn out the fuse, or even damage the SCR.
If you need to adjust the magnetic pole spacing, loosen the butterfly nut on the adjustable joint to change the magnetic pole spacing, and then tighten the nut to work.
Troubleshooting:
The power indicator does not light: may be bad indicator bulb or power switch failure or fuse blown;
Fuse blown: installed in the panel fuse connected to the primary transformer, when the transformer primary current component or primary and secondary short circuit and other faults, can cause the fuse blown. If the maintenance can not determine which part of the fault, you can separate the two transformers, respectively, connected to the power supply, and then check separately to find out the fault;
Magnetization indicator light does not light: may be bad indicator bulb, small relay failure or SCR does not work and other faults.

Type A probe: electromagnetic yoke probe with high magnetization strength. Pole distance: 0~200mm adjustable, lifting force: AC≥4.5kg, DC≥18.1kg. the probe has the characteristics of high magnetic conductivity and high magnetization strength.
Type E probe: cross yoke probe or rotating magnetic field probe, can be a one-time all-round composite magnetization flaw detection, pole spacing: two adjacent probe core center distance of 95 × 100mm, lifting force: AC ≥ 12kg. probe speed, high detection quality. The probe can generate rotating magnetic field, and carry out all-round flaw detection for all kinds of straight welds, ring welds, butt welds and planes and curved surfaces with large geometrical shapes at one time.
Type D probe: Horseshoe yoke fillet weld probe, movable joint head; especially suitable for the detection of shaped surfaces and complex shaped workpieces. Pole distance: 150mm for fixed type, 0~240mm adjustable with movable joint; lifting force: AC≥4.5kg, DC≥18.1kg; the probe can be freely adjusted by movable joint for a wide range of use.
Type O probe:Ring probe, inner diameter: 150mm, center magnetic field ≥180Oe. Equipped with a ring flaw detector, which is designed by the principle of generating strong magnetic field when the coil is energized, it is suitable for segmental flaw detection or demagnetization of shafts and rods, pipelines, bolts and other complex workpieces.
