ZL-5065 Mask Bacteria Filtration Efficiency Tester

The Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) detector is a special instrument for testing the ability of the tested samples (such as masks, etc.) to filter out bacterial particles under specified conditions.

This instrument mainly refers to “Technical Requirements for Medical Surgical Masks” YY0469-2011, Appendix B “Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) Test Method No. B.1.1.1 Test Instrument”, and has carried out innovative improvements, using dual gas paths for simultaneous sampling Compared with the comparison method, the sampling accuracy is improved.

This instrument is suitable for metrological verification departments, third-party testing, textile industry and fiber raw material industry, etc.

Instrument Features:

Negative pressure and closed experimental environment to ensure the safety of operators;

Two-way six-level Andersen sampler is used to sample at the same time;

The peristaltic pump is built in the sampling chamber, and the flow rate of the peristaltic pump can be set;

High-performance gas atomizer, the flow rate can be set;

Special microbial aerosol generator, good atomization effect;

Embedded high-speed industrial microcomputer control;

10.4-inch industrial-grade high-brightness color touch screen;

USB interface, support the use of U disk for data transfer;

Support data real-time printing (only for V1.06 and later models);

The cabinet has built-in high-brightness lighting and sterilization UV lamps;

Front switch glass door, easy for experimenters to observe and operate;

Built-in leakage protection switch to protect the safety of instruments and operators;

The inner layer of the cabinet is made of stainless steel as a whole, and the outer layer is spray-coated cold-rolled sheet;

The material between the inner and outer layers has thermal insulation and flame retardant properties;

Detachable bracket, supporting and moving dual-purpose casters.

Related Terms:

ØBacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE): Under specified conditions, the efficiency of the tested sample to filter out bacteria-containing particles, expressed as a percentage.

ØTested samples: masks, textiles and fiber raw materials, etc., are physical barriers to prevent the direct penetration of pathogenic microorganisms, body fluids, particulate matter, etc.

How it Works:

   A certain concentration of bacterial aerosol occurs upstream of the sample to be tested. After entering the aerosol chamber and mixing evenly, the bacterial aerosol enters two parallel gas path sampling systems, one of which is added with the test sample at the upper end of the sampler, and the other end without sample. , as the positive control, by counting the ratio between the value of the positive control and the value of the sample test as the leak rate, the filtration efficiency is obtained.
