Equipment overview:

  The machine consists of a rolled steel drum having an inside diameter of 710 mm and internal length 510 mm. The drum is rotated by a speed reducer driven by an electric motor at a speed of between 31 and 33 r.p.m. The machine is equipped with an automatic counter, which can be preset to the required number of revolutions of the drum. The unit is supplied without the abrasive charge, which has to be ordered separately depending on the standard in use.

Method of use:

1. Before the test run, you must check whether the wiring is intact. Press the start key to check whether the drum rotates normally (according to the direction of the arrow on the drum, if the direction of rotation is reversed, change the two hot wires in the input 380V to change). At the same time, clear the LED display screen, and then Set the DIP switch to the number of tests, and press the start key to start working. If there is a special situation, please press the “pause” button, the machine will stop working. After the fault is removed, press the “pause” button again to resume the work.
2. Put the tested crushed stone and steel ball into the cylinder, seal it tightly, tighten the screws, and turn the instrument to stop automatically after 500 rotations. At this time, the discharge opening is in the upper and middle position, which is convenient for opening the sealing cover. After opening the cover, press the jog key to turn the discharge opening downward. Release the button to stop the test cylinder and remove the test piece.
3. Use a circular hole sieve with a diameter of 2mm or a square hole sieve with a side length of 1.7mm to remove the stone debris from the sample. Wash the crushed stone left on the sieve with water, dry, constant weight, and accurately weigh it.
