Purpose:

This instrument is used to measure the resilience of enameled and wrapped rectangular wires. It is also suitable for measuring the resilience of enameled round wires and wrapped round wires with a diameter greater than 1.60mm.

Sample Preparation:

When removing the sample of at least 1200mm long from the wire reel, bending should be avoided as much as possible, and then the sample should be straightened by hand and cut into 3 samples of 400mm long. Tools should not be used to stretch. To avoid causing the sample to harden.

 

Instructions:

  1. Adjust the movable contact so that the distance from the axis of the rotating arm is equal to the narrow side size of the flat wire sample or 40 times the nominal diameter of the round wire sample.
  2. Fix the sample on the clamp of the tester, and the free end of the sample extends out of the movable contact contact point (12 2) mm;
  3. Before the test, the rotating arm should be at the starting point (30-degree scale position). Start using the rotating arm to bend the sample 30 degrees. Even if the sample is bent to (0-degree scale, position) within (2 to 5) seconds, the sample is at The time at position B is maintained at most 2S.
  4. Then move the rotating arm back to the original position A at the same angular speed. When the sample rebounds and stabilizes at position C, use the rotating arm to make the movable contact just touch the sample without bending the sample. The reading on the sector scale at the position C pointed to by the red line in the center of the rotating arm lens is the added rebound angle.
