Principle: According to ASTM D 3574 and JIS and GB/T1033, GB/T 533 specifications, the mentioned shoe materials, foam, EVA materials are absorbent products, using Archimedes buoyancy method Based on the principle, the operation of vacuum, boiling saturation method and immersion method is used to quickly read the measurement value.

Three density measurement modes:

Mode 1: For non-absorbent material products, the specific gravity and volume of the product can be directly read

Mode 2: For absorbent foam and EVA materials, it can directly read volume density, wet density, apparent porosity, water absorption, open pore volume, sealed pore volume, and total porosity.

Mode 3: For water-absorbing products, the water absorption rate of the water-absorbing material can be directly read.

Measurement steps of sponge density by saturated water method:

     1.Put the sample into the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize it.

2. Put the sample into the measuring table after saturation, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize it.
3. Put the sample into water after saturation, measure the weight in the water, press the M key to memorize, and directly display the density value.

Press 0 to switch to display wet density, apparent porosity, water absorption, open pore volume, sealed pore volume, and total porosity.

Non-absorbent material measurement steps:

1.Put the sample into the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize it.

Immerse the sample completely in water, measure the weight in the water, press the M key to memorize, and directly display the density value.
