The wire and cable fire resistance testing machine is a device used to test the fire resistance performance of wires and cables under fire conditions. It can simulate fire environments, evaluate the performance of wires and cables under high temperature and flame conditions, and ensure their safety and reliability under extreme conditions.

Main Parameters (Fire Resistance Characteristics):
Test Station: 1 station, one sample is tested each time.

Sample bracket L This machine has a total of 3 wire support rings. During the test, the sample is placed on the wire support ring and clamped with two test fixtures. It is suitable for testing whether the cable or optical cable maintains line integrity when the flame is not less than 750℃.
Blowtorch: The company’s self-made Venturi air propane mixed blowtorch is 500mm long.
Flame Temperature: 450°~950° adjustable.
Combustion Gas: Propane with a purity of 98% (prepared by the customer).
Combustion-Supporting Gas: Compressed air. (The air pressure must reach more than 10Mba) provided by the customer.
Temperature Sensing System: Imported stainless steel K-type thermocouple. (The material has a temperature resistance of more than 1100°).
Air Flow: 20-200L/min.
Propane Flow: 2.5-25L/min.
Ignition Device: automatic ignition.
This machine is equipped with a powerful exhaust system. When the test is completed, the powerful exhaust fan can exhaust the exhaust gas from the box in a short time.
The chassis adopts a double-layer partition structure, with high-temperature insulation cotton stuffed in the middle, which effectively reduces the temperature of the outer wall during the test <45°
Power Supply Requirements: AC380 (±10%) V/50HZ.

The exhaust system is located at the top of the chassis, which can effectively and quickly discharge the exhaust gas. There are several air inlets at the bottom to ensure the oxygen content in the box during the test, making the test results more accurate.
A door is installed on the front, and a tempered glass window is provided on the door, so that the test situation can be observed at any time. During the test, the door is closed to prevent harmful substances produced by combustion from polluting the indoor air.
Temperature measurement system: 2 K-type thermocouples are installed on the left and right sides of 70mm above the blowtorch, and the two thermocouple heads are 250mm apart.

Control Box: The control box is made of stainless steel plate, processed by CNC machine tools, and has a beautiful arc shape.
Combustion Device: This device is composed of 30*30 aluminum profiles, which is light, beautiful, easy to move and clean.
Control System:
The relay control system is adopted, and all electronic components are domestic leading brands, which can better guarantee the performance and detection accuracy of the machine.
Continuous detection device: During the test, the current is passed through all the cores of the cable, and the three single-phase transformers have sufficient capacity to maintain the maximum allowable leakage current of 3A under the test voltage. A lamp is connected to each core wire at the other end of the cable, and a current of nearly 0.25A is loaded at the rated voltage of the cable. When the sample is short-circuited/broken during the test, a signal is output.
The equipment has the following safety protection devices: power overload, short-circuit protection, control circuit overload protection.

The ground is flat, well ventilated, and does not contain flammable, explosive, corrosive gases and dust.

Impact Vibration, Rain Resistance Test Device (Water and Fire Resistance Test Device)
The performance requirements of this tester include the fire resistance test part (B. cable or optical cable line integrity combustion tester), water spray fire resistance test and mechanical fire resistance test, which are applicable to mineral insulated cables with a rated voltage not exceeding 450/750V, and keep the circuit intact for a long time under flame conditions. It complies with the British fire-resistant cable standard BS6387 “Specification for cable performance requirements to keep the circuit intact under fire conditions”.

Cable support system: The cable is clamped horizontally at both ends of the cable sheath by a clamp. The middle part of the cable is fixed by two metal rings (300mm apart), and the metal rings are grounded to the other metal parts of the device. For unarmored cables with a diameter less than 10mm, or some other cables that are significantly displaced during the test, there are 3 metal rings, each fixed about 150mm from the original metal ring.
Continuous detection device: During the test, the current is passed through all the cores of the cable, a three-phase star-connected transformer or three single-phase transformers (or a single-phase transformer if the test is a single-core cable), and it has sufficient capacity to maintain the maximum allowable leakage current of 3A under the test voltage. At the other end of the cable, each core is connected to a lamp and a current of close to 0.25A is loaded at the rated voltage of the cable.
1.3.1 The heat is a 610mm long tube gas burner with forced methane and dense flame.

1.3.4 Sample: The sample is a section of the finished product, not less than 1200mm, with 100mm of sheath and covering removed at both ends. The wires at both ends of the cable should be connected in accordance with the electrical connection.

Cable support system: The cable is connected to a metal bracket composed of two 25mm wide steel plates, and the bracket is fixed with a metal clip with a spacing of 200mm. The cable is connected to the bracket and all metal frames are grounded.
Continuous detection device: During the test, the current is passed through all the cores of the cable, three single-phase transformers, and have sufficient capacity to maintain the maximum allowable leakage current of 3A under the test voltage. At the other end of the cable, each core wire is connected to a lamp and a current of close to 0.25A is loaded at the rated voltage of the cable.
2.3.1 Heat: A strip burner is 400mm long and can burn a 400mm cable sample. The burner assembly can be adjusted to provide a bright flame with a temperature of 650℃ ± 40℃.
2.3.2 Temperature Measurement: A 2mm diameter armored thermometer is placed on the lower surface of the cable
2.3.3 Test Flame Temperature: 650℃± 40℃
2.3.4 Water Spray: A nozzle is installed on the test bracket, in the middle of the burner. The water pressure is 250KPa to 350KPa, and 0.25 liters per square meter to 0.30 liters per square meter of water is sprayed near the sample. This rate needs to be measured with a collection tray, which has enough depth to make its long axis parallel to the axis of the cable and placed in the center. This tray is about 100mm wide and 400mm long (the device is shown in the figure below).
Water and Fire Resistance Test Device:
2.3.5 Sample: The sample is larger than 1500mm and is taken from the finished product. The bending test has been done at ambient temperature. 100mm of the sheath and covering layer are removed at both ends. The wires at both ends of the cable should be properly treated according to the electrical connection and the manufacturer’s recommendations.
2.3.6 Test Voltage: 200~1000V (adjustable)
3.1 The cable is fixed to a vertical wall and fixed to the steel plate with heat-resistant non-combustible materials;

Wall and its installation
The wall is made of heat-resistant and flame-retardant material and is fixed on two horizontal steel beams, one at the top of the board and the other at the bottom of the board. The board is about 900mm long, 300mm wide and 9mm thick, and the total weight of the wall (i.e. the board plus the supporting frame) is 10 ± 2 kg. Each beam is a 25mm square steel tube about 1m long. If filling material is required, it needs to be placed inside the beam. The upper beam must be fixed to the plate so that its upper surface is flush with the upper edge of the plate. There is a horizontal hole on the outer edge of each beam and plate, and its exact position is determined by the requirements of the specific support pads and support frame. The wall is bonded to the frame with 4 rubber bushings, the bushings are about 32mm in diameter and 20mm thick.
Continuous Detection Device: During the test, the current is passed through all the cores of the cable, three single-phase transformers, and have sufficient capacity to maintain the maximum allowable leakage current of 3A at the test voltage. At the other end of the cable, a lamp is connected to each core and a current of nearly 0.25A is loaded at the rated voltage of the cable.
3.4.1 Heat: A strip burner with a length of 400mm can burn a 400mm cable sample. The burner assembly can be adjusted to provide a bright flame with a temperature of 650℃.
3.4.2 Temperature Measurement: A 2mm diameter armored thermometer is inserted through the wall and the thermometer is 8mm to 10mm away from the wall. The temperature is measured by the following procedure: A thermometer with a diameter of 3mm±5% and a length of 300mm is tied to one end of a low-carbon steel rod so that it can measure the temperature of the rod. Hold the rod close to the flame and keep it 40mm to 50mm away from the flame. This temperature can reach 400°C in 10s to 20s when the flame temperature is 950°C, and 400°C in 20s to 40s when the flame temperature is 650°C.
3.3.3 Test Flame Temperature And Time: The test temperature needs to be selected from the following table: X 650 ± 40 °C Y 750 ± 40 °C Z 950 ± 40 °C.
3.4.4: Vibration Device
The vibration device consists of a low carbon steel rod (diameter 25mm± 5%, length 600mm± 5%). The longitudinal section of the rod is parallel to the wall and 200mm above the top of the wall. An axis divides it into two parts of 200mm and 400mm, with the longer part facing the wall. It is dropped from a parallel position to the middle of the wall at 60°C at an interval of 30± 2S.
3.4.5 Sample: The sample is a section of the cable not less than 1200mm, with 100mm of sheath and covering removed at both ends. The conductors at both ends of the cable should be properly prepared according to the electrical connection and manufacturer’s recommendations. The cable needs to be bent in the middle into two sections of nearly equal length and parallel. The diameter of the curved part is 6D, where D represents the outer diameter of the cable. Make the cable into a Z shape, with the two ends fixed 13D apart horizontally.
The cable needs to be fixed to the wall with a copper clamp, and the installation of special cables needs to refer to the manufacturer. The clamps need to be fixed to the two curved parts of the cable, and the middle part of the bend is vertical: in the part where the cable becomes horizontal, the distance between adjacent clamps is equal, about 150mm to 200mm
