This test apparatus is designed in accordance with domestic and international safety standards such as GB/T 2951.4, IEC 60811-1-4, and VDE 0472. It is used to test whether cracks occur in wires when they are subjected to low-temperature coiling. The test must be conducted in conjunction with a low-temperature test chamber.
This test is generally applicable to circular insulated cores with an outer diameter of 12.5 mm or less, and to insulated cores with a cross-section that cannot be used to prepare dumbbell test pieces. It is also applicable to cables with an outer diameter of 12.5 mm or less and to flat cables with a minor axis dimension of 20 mm or less.
