Standard Overview:

This machine is suitable for GB/T2951-2008 “General Test Methods for Insulation and Sheath Materials of Cables and Optical Cables” and GB12706.1-2008 IEC60502-1:2004、GB11017-2002 standard test requirements.

Suitable for large cross-linked cables and control cables, it is an essential testing instrument for preparing insulation and sheath samples. It is used to complete the thermal extension test and tensile test of the samples (making standard dumbbell samples), further assessing the mechanical and physical properties of the samples, and meeting the standard requirements of the product.

The working principle is: the motor drives the screw rod, and the screw rod drives the tool holder to move back and forth horizontally. The tool holder is equipped with a special blade. Adjust the relative position of the blade on the tool holder to determine the thickness of the cut test piece, and then adjust the position of the tool holder and the sample. When the tool holder moves back and forth horizontally, the required sample can be cut transversely.  

This machine is an improved version, using hardened high-precision double guide rods and equipped with precision transmission square screws to make the equipment run more smoothly. In addition to maintaining the original cross cutting and medium breaking functions, it has also added a round cutting function for cables (optional), which means that the cut or planed round cutting surface can be used to measure thickness, external dimensions, and mechanical properties.
