●Equipment Overview:
Ford cups are made according to the American Society for Testing and Materials Paint and Raw Materials Standards ASTM D1200, D333, D365, and are used to measure the viscosity of inks, coatings, and paints. It is made of high-quality aluminum cup with small holes at the bottom and a capacity of approximately 100ml. The Ford cup evaluates the viscosity of materials by measuring the time it takes for a certain volume of test material in an aluminum cup to flow out of a small hole at the bottom. It is widely used in countries in the Americas and Europe.
